MA Research

Weaving light - explored the merging of electronic textiles with traditional Indian motifs by developing a prototype of fabric woven with fibre optics. Specifically, in the dark, the fabric lights up and the lights move to give the illusion of woven designs floating over the surface. Project partly sponsored by Mitsubishi Rayon Ltd.
